This policy explains how The Ark Technology Limited ("we", "us") handles information in relation to our website and the applications we publish on the App Store.

Our position on personal data

We build software we would be happy to use ourselves. As a rule, our applications are designed to work without collecting personal information. Where an app stores your content, it stays on your device or in your own iCloud account unless the app clearly states otherwise.

Information we do not collect

Website

This website is a static site. It does not use analytics cookies or tracking pixels. Our web server keeps standard technical logs (IP address, request time, requested page, user agent) for security and diagnostics. These logs are retained only as long as needed for that purpose.

Email

If you email info@thearktech.com, we receive the message and the details you choose to include. We use it only to reply to you and keep it no longer than necessary.

App Store data

Apple provides us with aggregate, anonymised statistics about downloads and crashes. This information does not identify individual users. Purchases and subscriptions are handled entirely by Apple under Apple's privacy policy; we never see your payment details.

Per-app disclosures

If a particular application needs to handle personal data or use a network service, that will be disclosed on the app's App Store listing and in this policy before the feature ships.

Children

Our applications are not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them.

Your rights

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Email us and we will respond.

Changes

If this policy changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
